About marine engineering?

Marine Engineering, a branch of engineering, deals with the design, development and maintenance of the equipment used at sea and on-board sea vessels like boats, ships etc.  Marine civil engineering also has many sister fields like naval architecture and nautical science and is often aimed at battling erosion and flood risk management, or providing navigational access. In simple words, Marine Engineering defines the research carried on in oceans, the coastal area and the inland waters connected to the sea. The Marine civil engineering course involves construction and maintenance of ships and other sailing vessels. There are different branch in engineering like civil engineering, coastal engineering, marine engineering etc.
